1. TONGYEONG, SOUTH KOREA


A port city located in Gyeongsangnamdo, Tongyeong. It is South Korea's own Italian city, Napoli. A perfect place for nature lovers, adventure seekers and those who want to know more about the Korean Culture.


Some places and things to do when visiting Tongyeong are:

  • To visit the other islands, like Hansando, Saryangdo, Bijindo and many more.

  • Eat seafood! As a port city, Tongyeong is one of the best places to eat seafood. You can visit their local traditional market, the Jungang Traditional Market which sells everything from Kimchi to Catfish Soup!

  • You can hike up Mireuksan or ride a cable car to get a view of the whole Tongyeong and its other islands!

2. BATANES, PHILIPPINES


From mountains to hills to the ocean view, Batanes has it all! Known as Home of the Winds, it is one of Philippines's smallest province with only 230 kilometers of land area in total. Located in the northernmost part of the country, it's size, distance and small population helps with keeping the beauty of the place and a peaceful lifestyle for its people.


The best months and seasons to visit Batanes is from March to June during the dry or summer season. This is the best condition to travel to Batanes as there are less chances of rainfall which means less delays and you'll be able to enjoy all the outdoor activities that Batanes has to offer!


Here are places and things to do when you are in Batanes as out of its 10 islands only 3 are inhabited:

  • Batan is where Basco, the provincial capital and airport are located. It is also where most accommodations and popular tourist spots are located.

  • Here you can visit Sabtang, on the south of Batan, a mountainous area with steep cliffs. Famous for its stone houses with cogan roofs.

  • The largest island amongst the three is Itbayat, and its located on the north of Batan. Known for its coastline with steep cliffs and rolling hills and grasslands. It also has its own rainforests and caves.

3. KOH KOOD, THAILAND


5 hours away from the city of Bangkok, Koh Kood is a place for those who want to relax and have a peaceful holiday but also for those who want to have an adventure amongst nature. An Island close to the Cambodian border, it's home to some beautiful beaches, the most exotic nature and an affordable accommodation.
