5 easy ways to stay healthy this Pandemic. From eating habits to simple 5 minutes exercises.



1. Drink Water!


With that said, Drink Water! To your warm water, squeeze half a lemon into your glass, and lastly, add a pinch of salt. This promotes hydration and is a good source of Vitamin C. This also helps with, weight loss, improving the condition of your skin, aids with digestion and prevents kidney stone!


2. Stretch Stretch Stretch


Stretching after waking up is the best as it reduces any pain, soreness and aches in the body. Any stretching exercises can be done within 10 minutes! This helps with increasing flexibility, reducing stress, improved posture and gives you more energy.


3. Eat your fruits!


Best fruits to eat during this time are kiwis, oranges, raspberries, cherries and strawberries. Kiwis are high in fiber and Vitamin C and can help with the maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums. Oranges contains Vitamin C that helps fight away bacteria, viruses and prevents colds, flus and ear infections. Raspberries are rich in ellagic acid and can boost metabolism to burn fats. Cherries contain anti-oxidants that may help reduce inflammation. Strawberries are also rich in anti-oxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties to prevent hardened arteries and suppress the progression of cancerous tumours.


4. Exercise


Indoors or Outdoors, at home or in the gym, anywhere, with a minimum of 30 minutes of exercising, it helps with improving brain function and lowers the risk of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Exercising also decreases anxiety and depression. Exercising helps with increasing muscle strength that can help improve your muscle function. lastly, exercise helps with preventing osteoporosis, where it protects your bones from thinning and decreases your fracture risk.


5. Sleep more


Did you know that most of us are lacking in this department? By sleeping, our bodies are allowed to repair and build our immune systems which will then fight off viruses. Keep in mind to aim for 8 to 9 hours of sleep daily for this to work.
